UPDATE CeltFest Supporting Local Rugby NEWS We are delighted to announce that both The Osprey's and The Scarlets have taken ticket allocations totalling 2000 tickets for their own supporters at CeltFest on 7th November. Both clubs are marketing and selling tickets via their own fan base in conjunction with the CeltFest Affiliate & Ticket Agent Scheme. CeltFest will be the base in Cardiff on big match day for two of Wales' most passionately supported clubs, with both the Scarlets and Ospreys having an official presence at CeltFest. This does however mean that tickets are becoming limited, so early booking is recommended. Tickets are currently on sale via www.celtfest.com, www.ticketlineuk.com, www.ticketmaster.co.uk and from the CIA Box Office: 02920 22 44 88. CeltFest Affiliate Scheme - Support Your Club: * You are encouraged to go to www.celtfest.com, purchase tickets directly from the site and during the checkout process enter the name of your team into the relevant box which will be indicated during the checkout process. * For each order which we receive with your rugby team named on the order, CeltFest will pay the relevant team £2 per ticket. For example, if we receive an order for 4 tickets marked with your team's name, we will then pay that team £8 for this one transaction. * All orders will be independently audited following the event by a chartered accountant, the orders per team tallied up, and a cheque issued to the relevant team. Max Boyce On Stage Before The Game! Following a high number of enquiries, we would like to confirm that MAX BOYCE will perform before the big game at CeltFest. From what we've been told so far, Max's performance is going to bring the house down! The full CeltFest running order will be announced on our website on October 21st. NEWS When Max Met Shane ... Exclusive Media Wales Interview Last Monday, we were delighted to bring two Welsh legends, Max Boyce & Shane Williams, to the HQ of Media Wales in Cardiff. 'When Max met Shane' is being serialised from yesterday (Oct 18), and can be viewed online by clicking here. Excerpt from interview ..... Max: Coming back to the New Zealand game, this year we’ll be working together at some stage with CeltFest. You are coming after the game – I find it a bit staggering actually that you can mentally do that. But you’re taking the stage. I’ll be on before the game, you’ll be on after so I’m sort of on for the first half, you’ll have top of the bill. Shane: You set them up for me, Max. Max: Do you find that sort of public appearance difficult? Shane: I find playing rugby far easier, I’ll be honest with you. But when I was approached through my promotions company, Shane Williams Promotions, to help out on the day and set up a few events and get some players down there, I was thrilled. Max: I’ll prepare the way. Like John the Baptist – “preparing the way for one greater than I”. Shane: Exactly, exactly! Max: There’ll be a pint at the bar for you, right? With “Shane” on it. And nobody will dare touch it. If we win, gosh, we’ll have to have a matinee!
