Getting noticed in USA?

Hi

I've just published (March 09) my first book - "Layer Cake", a poetry collection spanning the last 24 years. It's available on Amazon (.com and .co.uk) and from my own website but wondered if there were any good American magazines I could submit poems to, or if there was a good way of publicising it. I don't expect to make any money out of my poetry but it would be nice to get the work out to a wider audience.
