I'd like to see some of the work that folks on this group have created, like the wonderful dragon posted by Gaabi. Some of the carved/ quilted / crocheted / painted, whatever wonders you have produced. It's always inspiring to see what others are doing.

Thanks, Gaabe! Can't believe I didn't see this before...your entry I mean.
I also have been looking up Welsh quilting sites. There is much more than in the early '90's when I last did so. I found a book by Threads in a discount store. It had one section on Welsh quilting. I read it and read it. One quilt that was featured was Martha Waterman "Owain Glyndwer" It was beautiful. I learned that some of my propensity for curves and spirals is the Welsh coming out in my work. I wish I could share the whole article with you. It is from Great Quilting Techniques from Threads Magazine (NOvember 1991) Ms Waterman said that Welsh quilts were eccentric...love that word.I think it was the first time I looked up a Welsh word, too. Hwyl was defined, but ian the noun mean sail, humor, religious fervor. Thanks for the links. I guess I have to learn how to put them on here. I have quite a few now. Have you looked at Jennifer Jones work?

Thanks to you folks in this group, I located the two books Making Welsh Quilts and Great Quilting Techniques and treated myself to them for the holidays. Can't wait to try some of the ideas! Thanks very much for the suggestions.

I just looked at the quilt.org site...I really enjoy the flannel squares and the wool bowtie and the sateen...it is the kind of work I do on a very small scale. I rarely finish anything. I think I am afraid I may have to give it away. I did give one of my therapy quilts to my grandaughter. I love the textures and the imperfections of hand quilting. Thanks for posting that link.
