For those with Jones ancestry, I've started this discussion.
Maybe someone on the other side of the pond can help me find some information where I am stuck.
I cannot find the father of Wilson Jones, born in North Carolina about 1779. Died in 1818 in Tennessee. He married Rebecca McKissack.
He just showed up one day in America without a father? A stork dropped him off or something?
Why the heck can't I find out more intel on this guy?
