Does anyone have any suggestions for researching family history of Welsh settlers in Patagonia? a relative of mine emigrated there in 1886 but I can't find any record of her after 1900? I am based in Cardiff, South Wales and happy to hunt out records here!

Thanks for those links Ashley. Couldn't find anything on the census though. I'm thinking it might not have been a very thorough census.

Hello Linda, if you have data about your relative like the whole name, wife or husband name, childrens names, maybe it is possible to track or search for results in the families of Patagonia, as Wally told you, there are two complete books of genealogy of families from Chubut by Albina Jones de Zampini, and I've added for my self some others to try to make it most complete, there is another book by Albina with data of welsh women of Chubut. Hwyl.

Diolch Claudio,

I shall make a trip to the national library of Wales to check the books out, i believe they have copies there!
