Comment by Ceri Shaw on May 6, 2009 at 10:29am - Might I suggest a restoration of the old "Request A Phrase & Phrase of the Week" discussion group. I found it very useful. I suppose the main function would be to allow members to request translations of phrases that they could use in emails or on posts on the site. This would allow members to learn one phrase at a time so to speak and would work equally well for both the sender/recipient or the poster/reader.

Comment by Edward Channon on May 6, 2009 at 10:28am - I personally might want to practice as my uncle lives in Wales and has alwasy picked on me for not learning Welsh. I always tell him to give me a break, Welsh or bagpipes?

Comment by Suzie Morris on May 6, 2009 at 10:16am - I'm so excited about this. My knowledge of Welsh is limited to asking for a cup of tea and some off color words my father would say now and then. I ordered a CD collection with lessons, but have not cracked the cases yet. I'm sure there are a few who are ahead of the game. I'll catch up....eventually.

This is one of the most useful Welsh language programs that I have ever used.

It was created by one of our Members, Aran Jones. You can download the lessons for free on the website and save it to your mp3 player or to a file on your computer to listen to whenever you have time.
