Regards from an Eastern Orthodox Christian ~~ could you expound on your readings in a very simplistic way? I do not have a budget at the moment to allow me to delve into a lot of books. I tried to make contact with the Culdees whose book you feature, but I was not answered - being in communion with each other, Canon Law, and "reconstructing the early Celtic Church" must have been a touchy subject for them to breach with me, as I am a former clergy wife (!) and pointed out things in the greeting letter that the founder must not have wanted to address at the time..... :-( It was the same situation, almost, concerning dipolomacy, before the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia accepted and returned to communion with the Universal Church through the omophorion of the Patriarchate of Moscow (whom they were to originally represent, after communism swallowed and corrupted the Russian Church.)
