Shw Mae! I am also an OBOD bard, so it is very cool to discover this group here. I am also, BTW, Oregon & Alaska Facilitator for Northwest Druidry--which has a group page in facebook groups.

Hi All,
I just want to say, WOW! I love this time of year! Here in Parker, CO spring is just stirring, my daffodils are blooming. Spring blizzards will really get your attention coating every thing in wet snow. wonderful!

I have a wonderful old book here entitled 'Tir Iarll' a textbook for children dated 1910 giving the history of the old traditions. While still practised after the advent of Christianity it so easy to see how these practices stemmed from ancient or pagan times. I will post a short story on this site called "Murder at the Mari Llwyd" which of course was the Grey mare the Pale Horse of Death wonderful for a New Year's Eve by a log fire in a spooky old pub. That is as soon as I can dig it up (no pun intended) from the depths of my computer. Best wishes Bee

Hello everyone. I'm a Wiccad Witch living in England and have just joined this wonderful site. I'm enjoying it a great deal and am looking forward to becoming better acquainted with all of you.

blessings,
Jolen

Sorry if some of you get this notice twice, but this is exciting stuff! A four day, three night party with druids and pagans at a Tibetan Buddhist retreat in the Santa Cruz mountains of California?! I kid you not! Check it out, and if you got to the web site mentioned in the pdf invite (a fun site in its own right) you can see pics of the venue if you hit the Gorsedd button at the bottom of the queue on the left of the page. Enjoy!

I just found this group by way of Cari (for which my thanks). Some of you may know of me from my writing and editing work in the Pagan field. My major influences include Celtic, Native American, and African. I'm interested in Druid traditions, and the Bandraoi work that Jhenah Telyndru is doing with the Sisters of Avalon.

My blogs also have some of my Pagan content -- ritual stuff is on "The Wordsmith's Forge" and "Gaiatribe," poetry is on the Forge, and book reviews are in "Hypatia's Hoard of Reviews." The Hoard has a batch of several Celtic music albums recently added, Celtic being one of my favorite branches of music. I've got Irish, Welsh, even a bit of Breton. (I collect languages in text and audio.) Plus I'm pretty well networked with authors and a few musicians, so that stuff gets posted sometimes too.

Haha, ye, the top brass might draw the line somewhere there! OB stands for OTHER BELIEF by the way. How cool is that? Ive got plain ole CofE which is a slap in the face especially when it was a Welsh monarch that instituted the Anglican Church,

A druid major! Fascinating! He should be here... send him an invite? Or would protocol be forever sullied? LOL

My best friend in the Army, he's a Major now, joined the ranks, from Amlwch originally. On his tags it says OB for religion, he wrote down 'Druid' on his initial app and maintains his paganism to this day. Much to every Padre's frustration!
