New Jersey would work well as an equivalent for Essex Chav's but I would pick Maine as a Stacey equivalent. Mainers are noted for their dry wit and dour countenance, for a near simulacrum see Red Green. If she was from Maine, Nessa would say "Hows y…

Bezahn (Greetings),

My name is Ken Lonewolf and I am of the Shawnee-White Madoc Native Americans from the area of Pittsburgh. We were there for a few thousand years, however, we took white prisoners from somewhere down the Ohio River about two or three hundred years before the arrival of whites to western Pennsylvania. We adopted them into the Shawnees.

I have been to Fort Mountain and I am convinced that this rock wall is of European construction.
It actually matches a rock wall that I have seen in the woods near Trier, Germany right down to the sentry stations along the wall
and Native Americans would not have had a use for such a structure.

Mooneyed people to my people are the round-eyed Europeans. My Shawnee people were called squinty-eyed people by the whites, as that is normal for Indians to focus in that manner.
The first whites to western Penna. called my Shawnee people "the half-breeds" due to some of our people having European features, such as light hair, blue and green eyes, etc.
Our last chief in the early 1800's was Chief White Madoc. He sold some of our land to white settlers.
This is not a wild tale, but is recorded in court records.

I have met Dana Olson, author of a small book on PPrince Madoc, aand he kindly showed me rok structures in the forests across the river from Louisville, Ky.

Most people want to believe that a Madog came here in the sixth century, but I am led to believe that the Madog that I trace to came here in the 12th century.

Much is to be learned about this historical anomally in America.

Are there any of these Shawnee-White Madoc Indians left? Yes, most are my relatives.

I dance at our annual pow-wow in western Penna. in the summer.

Oh, yes, Button Gwinnett! I always loved that name, too!

I'm really interested in research more about the life of John Rees, who fought at the Alamo, was part of the Newport Chartist uprising and then came back to the US (we think with a British price on his head) to resell his Alamo land grant about six times and finally die of TB in the Siskyou mountains in Northern California. Ceri did a book review on him here and I'd love to see if we can go and find his grave, it's about a five hour drive.

Legend around here is that a Welshman brought sheep ranching to Oregon but I don't know his name. Ceri said he's been to the town of Shaniko, which is a rebuilt ghost town and they have material on him there as that's where he lived.
