- Hi Chad - yeah, Caernarfon is the old family area...whereabouts is your family from back there? and where did you read about my family.... my granddad is from Penisarwaun, just east of there..... you know, we've got another connection, too = Iowa. My parents are both from Iowa and I have a ton of relatives living all over there..... My mom is from Redfield and my dad is from northeast Iowa, a very Welsh town called Limesprings, near Cresco.... I have cousins living in west Des Moines, redfield, Adel, council bluffs, all over Iowa... Go Hawkeyes (oops, hope you're not a Cyclone's fan?)
