Hi Cynthia - Llandeilo was always a nice town, but now I think it's better than ever. I like the Plough and the Cawdor, too.

I was at Bangor from 1973 on. Left for Canada in 1977, then the U.S. in 1978. Where in Ammanford did you live? My grandparents lived at 54 Ammanford Road, Llandybie--next to Royal Oak farm. I grew up in Ffairfach.

Dearest Cynthia,
I'd heard you'd given a wonderful eulogy for Ronnie. Alun told me as he'd been to his funeral. Again I am so very sorry to hear of his death; he played a prominent role in my adolescence and was, of course, big pals with my own parents. I hope the four of them are partying now! Much love, Victoria xx

Cynthia,

I'm sorry to hear about Ronnie. His house in Myddynfych Drive is just a hundred yards or so from where I now live in Bonllwyn, and a hundred years or so away from where I was brought up in Myddynfych. I don't think I can get to the funeral, as it's in Morriston, and I don't drive. Please acept my condolences.

My condolences on the passing of your brother. That really isn't a nice trip to go on. Yes, I agree, my parents are still alive - Dad is 85 and Mam is 78 but they are both in good health. Anyway, siaradau a chi eto. Cariad, Irene x

Hello Cynthia. I went to school in Ammanford. When did you leave Wales? I left in 1976 but go back often as all my family are still there - in Glanamman and LLandybie

Best wishes for the upcoming month. My networking has been terrible last year - you weren't the only one among other people I did not meet with, and never got my portfolio finished, so, I do feel bad about it as Welsh Week is upon us, but here's to better times ahead for all of us.

If I happen upon some days off on Friday mornings, I will contact you.

On January 19th, we are holding a concert at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center featuring premieres by famed Welsh composer Karl Jenkins, who is currently Britain's largest-selling contemporary classical music composer. More information is available on http://www.DCINY.org. We would love to see you there!
