A plea to all you Welsh at heart. I need your help! - CLOSE RUN THING!

We have a chance to make a Welsh coalmining song, the “Song Of The Year” at this year’s prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
This is one of the world’s biggest contests.

My song “Take Us Down” is a Grand Prize Winner, and as such moves into a head to head on line vote out between two folk songs.
To hear the song, please go to - http://www.myspace.com/davidllewellynmusic – the song will fire up automatically.

We will need a lot of votes. Everyone can vote once a day – everyday – until t… Continue

There is a Grand Prize Winner in each category selected every six months and now is the time when there is an online vote out between the two songs to become a Lennon Award Winner – Best Folk Song of the Year, etc. The winner of t… Continue

Hi David, mind you I haven't been on this thing for a bit because I'm so flipping busy these days. Busy but getting nowhere if you know what I mean. I told you about the abba tribute band i do? well we are delving deep into comedy these days and are going to do a full blown spoof show. Its based on whatever happened to agnetha and frida? and takes inspiration from whatever happened to baby jane. we're even going to film the beach scene when agnetha gets arrested! I am the girl with the golden hairs! Anyway, back to reality, keep me posted about when you are coming back. Any news on the john lennon song contest thing? I have been voting.

Hey, David! If you replied to a message, it should be in your inbox/message center - find the little envelope graphic at the top of the right hand column with "Inbox" and click on that, then check the "Sent" tab - if you still can't find it, let me know.

And you're welcome for the "tarting," but don't worry, I've just started :D - as soon as I get over a couple of deadlines, I have more in mind. Please let me know IMMEDIATELY if there's something you don't like or aren't totally happy with. :)

Thank you for the message, the invitation, and the compliment. Returned. I don't "rally troops" (see recent interview with Brian y Tarw Llywd) but I will mention it to one of my students who does. Facebook link should work now. It was turned off. I'm in the middle of moving an entire Welsh household and life back to America - but I'll put in another vote. Llongyfarchiadau ar eich cerddoriaeth. Thanks, hon! Even if it's not really possible to go from the one to the other, I'm looking forward to getting out into the hills for a nice hike.

And it's about time you got that video up on here! Didn't you do several of them at the same time? You going to release any more? C'mon, you know you want to! ;-)

Hugs!
Katie

Could there ever be an opportunity for a welsh tenor to perform in your area?

I don't know how I missed saying hello to you, but I will try to make up for that now: Hail and well met! Welcome to Americymru, soon to be your favorite website! Hopefully :-) Check out the various interest groups, and the videos and music... wonderful stuff. And there are a lot of nice people here too. Hope you like what you find!
Blessings to you this day.

David, I listened to your "Take Us Down". Just great. We just did a memorial for the Avondale Disaster of 1869. Many fathers and sons died together that day. Would you consider our Saint David's Society using your song as background for our website? www.welshnepa.org We would do everything that we can to promote you and your music. I'm also the webmaster. Looking forward to hearing from you. Do you travel anywhere near northeast PA?

David,
Sorry for the confusion - I deleted your last comment by mistake! But I did address the envelope, and will post it today, so all is well.
