Spent all our family holidays here when I was a kid. Used to stay in a chalet/tinshack on the hill behind those gorse patches above the cliffs. Survived a near fatal car accident on the Jersey Marina on our way there when I was 7. Spent the week i...

Swt mae Dom. Love your pics. I lived in Roath Park for 4 1/2 years and loved being close to family and friends. I've seen those crazy signs going towards the bay. Visited Cardiff castle many, many times with friends visiting from the US where I now live. My brother lives in Whitchurch. My niece is a nurse in the Heath. Spend hours and hours walking around the lake at Roath park and boating, feeding ducks, etc. Many happy memories. Must take my 3 grandchildren there soon.

Oh, Roath park, I remember going there with my Dad on the weekends and he would buy me a 99 and we'd watch all the people on the lake paddling around.

Breathtaking photos! The contrast of old and new is great. This is a part of Wales I have never seen photos of...is it all Cardiff?
Thanks.

I agree about the resemblance to Alan Cumming! Although my only question is, don't you Welsh boyos ever *smile* in your pictures?? Why so serious? ;-)

Speaking of pictures, I've been enjoying your pix of Cardiff - they make me want to visit even more than I did before! Now I just have to get the HBD tour sorted so I can figure out how soon I can get over there.

I've been enjoying your photos! I spent only a day in Cardiff several years ago...your pics bring back a lot of memories--along with a strong desire to return.

Hey, Dom

Love your photos. There's one of a church on a hill -- would that be at Llan Ffestiniog? My mom's grandmother was from there.

I was into photography for a few years, back in the old days when we still used film. :)

You have taken some great photos, I see Caerphilly is there too, I live about 2 miles from there, I recognise most of the photos, excellent photography.
