About Me:
My maternal grandfather John Wreford Owens was from Swansea, and his parents Jane Thomas and William Owens were from Milford Haven. I've always been interested in Wales but have yet to make the trip. As I've aged I've noticed more similarities with my grandfather's family and the draw to Cymru has grown stronger.

Do you remember what year he immigrated? 1906?

There wasnt a specific word for yes or no in Welsh up until the Devolution referendum in 1997. Since there was a yes and a no campaign I guess we needed to invent them. So "ie" pronounced "ear" and "na" pronounced pretty much the way t looks became the welsh words for yes and no.

Yes (how do you say "yes" and "no" in Welsh?). My wife has the Spanish heritage. While coming up with the design I knew it had to have the griffyn in it, and el toro came naturally as a symbol of Spain. It wasn't until afterwards that she said, "It looks like we're fighting." No, just a little friendly jousting...
