- hi gwenllian.......rhondda born......used to cruise to alaska from vancouver......played in a band on the cruise ships for a couple of years!......used to go to a club called "oil can harry's".....saw ray charles there....fantastic!.....my friend works for elvis costello.....he has a house in west vancouver......and nyour right,....the pacific is cold!....lol.......

- Yes. I was brought up on Anglesey and I've just come back from there. I made it a bit of a working holiday and plan to do a painting on the Menai straits looking across to the mountains and also of the small 'beach' tucked down below St. Mary's church in Llanfair P.G.. Wish I could have spent longer on the island and done some more studies. I so miss the beaches. The Pacific is wild and beautiful but so cold!
