Janice, hello, thank you for your kind comment. I love Criccieth. My college room mate lives at the bottom of the hill leading to the castle. If you ever go across the pond wo Wales let me know and I will share what knowledge I have picked up over the years. Part of my Hughes family ( my grandfather's brother) moved to Texas in 1908 when he was 12 years old. He settled in the San Antonio area so a branch of my family still lives there although I have not met any of them yet.
By the way I stumbled on to your My Space, I loved your pictures and your choice in music. Nanci Griffith singing "Gulf Coast Highway" is one of my favorite songs. You also had Steve Earle, James McMurtrey and some other interesting folks I will have to explore. Perhps one day we can chat about Wales, Texas, music and movies. Stephen

Shw mae Jan

Autumn has just kicked in here. I hope to put some more photographs up soon if the weather stays clear. We had two months of persistent and continuous heavy cloud and rain. It was the mildest Winter I could remember. Our seasons go like THIS: Winter - Spring - Mild Winter - Autumn and Winter. LOL.
