- My grandfather and his maternal ancestors were all Welsh. The ancestoral names that I am researching are; Mathews, Williams, Jones and Evans in the Montgomgeryshire/Powys area. My paternal, 2nd great grandmother Margaret Thomas was from Caernarvonshire, Wales.

Died may 16 1914. Aged 58 years.

- Hello to All, thank you for such a warm welcome.
In 1911, my grandfather, along with his Mother and siblings immigrated to Canada from Machynlleth, Wales. I have had the opportunity to visit Wales twice, 1988 & 2000 and I plan to return in the future for yet another visit.
