Rosetta Stone has a wonderful program on the Welsh language, unfortunately it is too rich for my blood ($219). However, I have seen it for less on eBay. http://www.rosettastone.com/

My biggest problem is saying the words themselves, which is hard to do over the internet. Perhaps some phonetic pronounciation for all the phrases you posted????

I don't have the CD's with me right now, I'll have to post the information tomorrow. There is also a web site where you can download around 20 lessons, I'll try to find the address. Here's one that may help http://www.saysomethinginwelsh.com/lesson

I'm so excited about this. My knowledge of Welsh is limited to asking for a cup of tea and some off color words my father would say now and then. I ordered a CD collection with lessons, but have not cracked the cases yet. I'm sure there are a few wh…

Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
My goal in life to inform as many people as possible about Wales, its beauty, its culture and its people. I dream of one day, soon I hope, obtaining a job where I am paid to promote Wales. I would love to live there!
What is your interest in or connection to Wales?
My father was from Snowdonia. Although I was born in London, I have a strong tie to Wales - it's an ancestral thing! When I was 16 I stayed with my Aunt in Llanberis, where she had a B & B (Plas Coch). I worked for her that summer, which is when I fell in love with Wales and everything about it. Many of my relatives are still there, I miss them and especially miss the magic of Wales. Once you've been there, it will never leave you!

I haven't given up hope yet and know that one day,… Continue

If you contact the magazine - www.welshcountry.co.uk - they will send you one. They deal with overseas sales and they are entirely trustworthy and reliable. Ian Mole from the mag is now a member of the Americymru site and you can track him down that way too
Whatever your second job is I hope it pays the bills!

Would there be an opportunity for an operatic Welsh Tenor to be showcased singing welsh folk and love songs in your circle?
