Dechreuais ddysgu Cymraeg ym 1980 pan oeddwn i yn high school ac wedyn es i fyw yn Aberystwyth am flwyddyn academaidd ym 1984-'85, ac wedyn sgrifennais fy master's thesis ar bwnc ffonolegol y Gymraeg a'i gyflwyno ym 1991. Cenais mewn grŵp bach corawl Cymraeg o gwmpas Sacramento am ryw 20 mlynedd. Felly mae'r grŵp yma o ddiddordeb imi.
