About Me:
I'm a nearly 80 year old Welsh Society in the Capital Region of New York, and at my age, I'm always looking for new friends :) I hold a Gymanfa Ganu, a Pub Night, an annual Dinner and bi-weekly Welsh language class, as well as a tent at the Celebration of Celts in Chatham, New York. Recently I sponsored Cwrs Cymraeg, and it was a blast!! In spite of my advanced years, I have lots of friends not even half my age.

Profile info is amusing. It took me awhile to see your comment on my page because our goats were kidding, no kidding:)
We are near Hamilton, smack in the heart of NY. The terrain seems to be much like Wales, though I have never been there.

If you have a chance, go and see Jon Langford & the Burlington Welsh Male Chorus on September 17th at the Highline Ballroom in New York. (see events page for further details)

A fantastic twist on the usual male voice choir performance, Newports (now Chicago native) Jon Langford leads the legendary Burlington Welsh Male Chorus in renditions of Tom Jones songs, tracks from his own CD Skull Orchard among many other songs. Has to been seen to be believed!!
