At 4:28am on December 25, 2009, thistle said…: Well, THIS is interesting, Wendell.....I have Williams ties to Aberdare as well! My gggg grandfather, David Williams, was born in Aberdare around 1787. He married Jane Rees in Llanelli in 1810. There's also ties with this family to a place called Caerbigyn Farm near the Five Roads area. I'm not sure if any of this relates to you, but I'd be glad to share what I have!

I noticed on the genealogy board that you are researching Williams from Llanelli and I am doing the same. My Williams line came to Pittsburgh in the 1860's but I know that another branch of the family went to Utah. I'd love to compare notes with you!
