=======

Dockrad Records are proud to present the second release by Howl Griff – a double A-side featuring Crash & Burn and Bluebirds. The tracks are taken from their forthcoming album “The Hum”, due to be released early in 2010, which The Word / Guardian / Observer reviewer Graeme Thomson has already called "very excellent... a truly lovely thing, full of sun and harmony... 100 per cent Welsh guitar-pop goodness from top to toe."

Crash and Burn is a harmony-laden slice of catchy pop-folk-rock that you’ll find humming to yourself all day. Bluebirds is an anthemic slab of Krautrock-influenced guitar monolithery recorded, naturally, in Cardiff.

The band’s debut album, “Howl Griff”, transcended linguistic and musical boundaries by being recorded in Welsh and loved around the world. BBC Wales said it “Brilliantly blends a gentler side with upbeat blasts”, the Liverpool Daily Post called it “Guitar-led, harmony-laden, anthemic, like the B-52s jousting with the Super Furries and the Beach Boys” while the Palo Alto Daily News say “Crisp, chiming guitars and sweet harmonies make it impossible to resist”.
The band play live to support the release of this
single, and you can catch them live soon:

Friday, November 13th – Toucan Club, Cardiff - Single Launch Party
Sunday November 15th - The Windmill, Brixton - Launch Party 2
