Cappucino Girls Flash Mob Live from Swansea, Wales

I’m sure you’ll have heard of Shaheen, the young lad from Swansea who sang at Michael Jackson’s memorial service. On 30th Oct he will be performing with Jermaine Jackson in a tribute at the Black Music Awards in the UK, a show that will go all around the world.

On Monday Shaheen joined with 160 other dancers to do a flash mob dance in Swansea. It was done for lots of reasons but the major reason was to show the world what a great place Swansea is.....with love from Wales. The song is the Cappuccino girls sung by another Swansea singing star Bonnie Tyler.

We all wait in antisipation for Shaheens balls to drop, hope it does not ruin his voice, or his dancing....

I've always liked Swansea, they get on with it themselves and don't have everything handed to them, like that other place down the road; although they shouldn't claim Bonnie Tyler, she's a Neath girl.

Great to see local composer/musiciam Mal Pope's new musical get a good start. I just hope that we are not judged just on the size of the big screen in Castle Square.

Come and see for yourself the Castle (one of half a dozen or more within twenty miles) - just out of shot of the video, our great beaches and the places that made Dylan Thomas described Swansea as an "...ugly.lovely town...beside a long and splendid-curving shore..."

See you soon

Brilliant -- thanks for posting! I will be there, in Castle Square, four weeks from today. Can't wait to visit Swansea again. Cheers, Cary
